There is more to Africa than what meets the eye.
My summer in Uganda taught me that no matter our circumstance we can choose to be happy. The people taught me this. Despite all the pain and suffering... they loved, and laughed, and praised God. So yeah, there is more to Africa than the corruption and the 'poverty' that most of us think of first. It's a sacred land for me and it is place where my life and purpose become clear(er). :)
This guy.

Castle? Check. Prince? Check. and they lived happily ever after and all their dreams came true...(checkkkkkk)
Okay, So it's only been (almost) 4 months. We don't have our thank you notes out...we spend way too much time watching Vampire diaries...we aren't exercising as much as we pledged we would....k, whatevs. But, MAN, so happy I get to be with this guy and that he knows me and my dreams and helps them happen! He is the nicest. And the best guy for me.
proof that dreams come true:
i'm actually (and finally!) graduating.
mossy gets married may 2.
I get to see biancs.
natalie gets married june 22.

i am finally getting back to UGANDA! WITH. MY. HUSBAND. (oh my heart!)
Kiera is going to Africa and I get to spend time with her there for a week. (oh my heart!)

(sidenote: this picture cracks me up. I wrote my name on the board one day so they knew how to spell it. Later on, I ended up telling them about an intense experience where my companion and I had to reprimand this member cause he was denying the truth and letting Satan lead his life. Basta, I left the room and came back and the elders had drawn this picture. Underneath it says "I will punch you Satan." haha. yeah, don't mess with Sister B. I fight back.)
I took my LAST test in the testing center of my undergrad career yesterday.

my number is 6-3334. I literally can't remember the last time (if ever.???) that I got an A on a test in the testing center! When you get an A you get those fun comments next to your score and you feel SOOO very proud. I only posted 2 pics, but I literally stood there and took 10 pictures. It was an important moment, okaaayy?? (and nevermind that it was a flexibility test..blahblah.)
after Africa we are going to EUROPE for 2 weeks.
my DREAM (i have many, yes..) is to go to Germany where my dear URS was born, but not only go there, but go WITH MY URS.
Aug 17-25 Urs will be in Germany with us. :) MIRACLE.
Jarrett and Dad will also be there!! Family reunion, Europe style, anyone?? Kboo and Josh and the boys might join us too the next week after Kiera's africa adventure) :)
So blessed. So grateful.
Then i have to come back to real life and find a real life adult job...gross. But for now, I'll just focus on planning for the summer.
You gotta have dreams in order for them to come true, right??
I'm one happy girl.
Time to make some cookies.
heart,
Tori (and Jrod--he supports this message.)
