It's about time for an update: Africa and Europe

So maybe I should update about 2014 before 2014 is over? Fine fine, lets try it out and see how I do. . . Wait did I ever update about AFrica? or Europe?! I'm THE worst. Here's to backtracking and updating the past year and a half! June-August: Jared and I lived in Uganda and did research through BYU. Jared focused on savings incentives in Africans and I evaluated a non-profit called Days for Girls. A great learning experience for both of us. We had some great roommates -Ryan and Sarah, made some great friends in the local ward, and my sister came to Africa with African Promise Foundation. We got to spend some time with them and that was a blast.
Next, Jared and I flew to Germany and met my parents and my brother Jarrett. Later that week my oldest brother, Aaron was able to meet us too in Germany. What a blast!!
Here are some pictures of our first day: We started our Bavarian Adventures in Wurzburg exploring a massive Residence, then on to the town of Rothenberg, and ended the day at the Colmburg Castle! Rothenburg is a town that is surrounded by a wall that we could climb and walk around. Pretty impressive. Basically, Bavaria in is exactly as you dreamed it would be. . .beyond beautiful!
