The Filipino Spirit is Waterproof: One Year Later

It has been a year since Typhoon Yolanda hit the Philippines Tacloban Mission and the surrounding areas. So much has happened in this past year to our little family as well as those we love across the sea. Thank you friends that prayed, donated, shared kind words, and helped Jared and I get back to Tacloban to find and help those we love there. There was and still is incredible destruction and tragedy, but I'm filled with so much joy and gratitude by the love and hope that also has happened after such a storm. Thinking of you all today, mga sangkay didto!! To the missionaries I taught that endured and to the Filipinos we love so much: Tindog Tacloban! The Filipino Spirit IS Waterproof!

So proud of the Philippines and especially Tacloban for rising again after such a disaster and finding hope and blessings as they Look to God and Live!
